Situation: Aerospace company with an MRP system not driving replenishment

Assessment: Too many actions for buying team to action and unstable demand suggestions.

Solution: Detailed analysis into what was causing the variation in demand suggestions showed other departments actions causing un-necessary demand fluctuations. Implemented new processed and procedures, trained departments on MRP use which resulted in a reduction of 87.5% in the number of buyer suggestions each week.
